Day 20: Your favorite photo of Ronnie Radke
After Ronnie’s departure from Escape The Fate, I didn’t take any sides. I like both Ronnie and Craig as vocalists, but as people I despise Ronnie. When he got released from jail I was ecstatic. I was very excited to hear what he had to say after all these years and hear the new music he would come up with. I read his first interview he did when he got out a prison and I was outraged, not by him but the things he said about ETF, the “real story”. I instantly took his side because I thought, why would someone lie about all the things after so many years? I resented Escape The Fate for months for “betraying” Ronnie. After awhile I forgave them for the decisions they’d made. When I heard the Falling In Reverse album I was more than disappointed, I was heartbroken. I knew there would be some animosity toward ETF but I didn’t think he would let it interfere with his music. Yes, I most admit that the album was okay but the lyrics were what made me upset. All I really heard was “Fuck Escape The Fate” “They betrayed me” “I went to jail” blah blah and I knew Ronnie had it in him to make a better album. Later in 2011 I realized that Ronnie was not the person I thought he was. He deliberately disrespected Nick Matthews and his girlfriend at the time. He also constantly plays the victim and continues to have childish arguments with Craig over Twitter. He is an egotistical, arrogant, asshole who I absolutely have no respect for. I don’t care what he has to say about what happened so many years ago, he needs to get over it. He is the only one that is still going on about it. So in conclusion, Ronnie Radke can go fuck himself in the ass with a chainsaw. Fight me.
